Relief goods reach inaccessible areas of Bisham

The people were so desperate to get these relief items as some of them tried to enter helicopters when it landed for a while on a plain near a village. The two helicopters having capacity of loading hundreds of pounds of goods remained in the air for more than two hours to complete their relief operation.
The area where the relief operation was carried out suffered less loss of lives but most of the houses had totally collapsed or damaged and are unsafe to live in. The residents of these villages can now depend on goods like blankets and winterised tents. Most of the residents were seen moving here and there and sitting outside their houses, waiting for arrival of relief consignment. “Thanks to Almighty Allah, I have got the tent,” one of the villagers remarked after receiving a tent.
The villagers have adopted a new way to attract helicopter crew to them, when helicopters reached over their heads they started aiming mirror reflection at the flying machines to signal the crew to provide them relief. The winter season has started in this part of the Northern Areas as one could easily see while sitting in helicopter the snow-covered mountains.
