best solution for housing of people in remote areas is use of masonary rubble lying at site of their homes to make an earthquake resistant house using seismic wire ties and earthquake resistant design(foundations, plan shape, butteresses, baffles bond beams very little material for these provisions will be needed .it should be provided to them free of cost.they will not be able to get sophisticated , imported hi tech solutions being poor, no connections etc.

wonder why there has not been a single article on how to make earthquake resistant house. They are in urgent need of some shelter. They have this material lying on own plot. They have built theuir homes before nd can build again. But this time they have to be told how to make it earthquake resistant.I have seen BACIP and IAP have suitable material ready with them. Why it can not be published in newspapers. This is the quickest and ceapest hmethod for dessiminating this knowledge of making houses earthquake resistant. The provisions to be made are not very costly. If standardized there will be many who will be willing to manufacture and supply this package of wire mesh. Some pictures showing their use can be very helpful. These articles can be printed as leaflets, pamplets and posters. mak
I have very good Chinese coy, capable to make earthquake resistant housing in large qty with ISO certification. The Coy will utilise local manpower and some of the localy aviailable material, thereby making it very economical.
I intend to introduce this to NGOs,Govt Authority and UNO.

My office wants to donate money to build a shelter for the survivors. How do I go about it?
Thanks

moladi a South African Company has developed a one-step casting process for the erection of homes,”…Simply cast a whole house in a day, employing unskilled labour, reducing time, waste and cost. Eliminating chasing for plumbing and electrical pipe work, plastering and beam filling. Resulting in a wall stronger than brick and earthquake resistant. A cost effective, holistic design and build technology that far outweighs poorly designed costly concrete-block and masonry structures…”
Our group of friends will be interested in making 100 to 400 homes for long term shelter basis. We will like every single penny to be spent under our supervision and we will like to select the families ourselves. Pl. advise the right course of action. Is there any support we can get from Pak Government. Thanks.
Pls. reply at wavescarpet@bellnet.ca
