APHA providing artificial limbs for Earthquake affected people
APHA is a volunteer social organization and Rehabilitation Centre, engaged in alleviating the problems and difficulties of the people with disabilities, established in 1975 and is being run by the handicapped themselves.
APHA is interested in providing artificial limbs to the earthquake affected people. Following is the email sent by a member of their managing committee.

Respected Sir,
Our Association, a registered voluntary social organization and a Rehabilitation Centre, is engaged in alleviating the problems and difficulties of the people with disabilities, established in 1975 and is being run by the handicapped themselves.
A.P.H.A. has been making artificial limbs/foot on the best rubber foot technology of Jaipur India, which is famous in the world, and we have so far provided to hundreds of amputees towards their rehabilitation.
However, A.P.H.A. is very much interested in collecting complete data of the disabilities of earthquake victims so that A.P.H.A. could enhance its production of artificial limbs and provide free of cost to a maximum number of the disabled who have become the victims of the recent earthquake.
In view of the following four points, A.P.H.A. teams & volunteers including Foot Technicians wish to come to Islamabad and Rawalpindi to serve this noble cause and for which A.P.H.A. needs your support.
1. Correct and smooth amputation of the earthquake victims who have been become disabled Amputation must be well trimmed and it must have no margins, corners and edges.
2. To collect complete data of disability of quake victims.
3. Production and supply of Artificial Lower Limbs to the Earthquake victims free of cost.
4. Rehabilitation of the earthquake victims.

In current situation of Pakistan many more amputees (Limb Loss) in Azad Kashmir & NWFP are waiting for artificial limbs. There is no set up , where they get artificial limbs.
Being an expert in this profession, We offer our services to donor country & organization . Govt. of Pakistan needs support & cooperation to start Physical rehabilitation programme (as no setup exists in these area). We are able to provide Team of Experts (Orthotist / Prosthetist) with effective working plan.
We have sufficient man power. We only need Raw material, Equipment .
Please send Aid for Artificial limbs setup to Govt. or through your representatives. or if u need plan to establish an O&P set up ,we will cooperate
